Nitecore understands that safe use of a battery is just as important as the battery’s production. Designed with safety in mind, the NL1834 features nickel-plated S.S. protectors at both ends that give the cell superior impact resistance, better electrical conductivity and quality oxidation resistance. To prevent against abrasions and other external damage, the cells are coated with a durable metallic film, while its protection circuit is coated with hard plastic. The battery features a unique anode that is designed to resist high temperatures, as well as a micro-porous barrier on the interior that protects the delicate internal components. The cell even comes with a specialized pressure relief valve that will activate in the event the battery experiences rapid temperature increase.
